Oops I Did It Again

So I’ve gone and done it again.

What have I done?

I did done gone and finished another story.

That’s two this century, I’m on a roll!!

Well, I thought long and hard about what was going to happen when I finished The Parcel, actually no I didn’t, I got sick of writing the story and ended it abruptly just to get rid of it.

So what am I going to replace it with?

I did consider a request type story where I put the idea put to popular vote, but then I remembered I’m not that popular. So I put it to unpopular vote and voted myself.

What was the result?

Well, I came up with a few ideas but in the end I decided it was time to get a little darker. I’m not talking about a story that you need to turn the lights off to read. I’m not even talking about demons and monsters, well not the kind that have big heads, breathe fire and have horns anyway. No, I’m talking about a darkness of the mind. Well that’s what I think is going to happen anyway.

Whether it’s going to work only time will tell, but I think it’s going to be a long ride, so I’ll probably bore most people into giving up long before the story finishes.

There we go a plan, plot and theory with no drawbacks, so check back next week to see how quickly I can bore you with another demented soap opera.

  1. Hmmm …. you hooked me!

  2. “Wind of it” is not an appealing start…
I know you’re already worried about me being afraid of the dark, but I’m a big girl…. not big like BIG …. I’m really just normal size… I just mean I have my big girl panties on…. I mean not my BIG girl panties…. they’re just regular size big girl…. ….. Yes, I’ll shut up now… you just keep stay down wind and I’ll be fine. : )

    • It’s all in how the wind is delivered 🙂

Now my head is full of all sorts of strange images. Does one need big girl panties when the wind is strong, or do normal size ones work?

I’m not so worried about you being afraid of the dark, but maybe I’m afraid I’ll fall into the dark?

  3. Giggle … to the first part…. wondering if you’re serious about the second part? I just got out of a black hole, I’m not very excited about going back in after you. Better tie a rope on first and then me and my panties can just pull you out. Just be careful where you tie that rope!

    • I’m flattered (I think) that you think it could be tied anywhere but around my waist 🙂

They say writing no matter how fictional has a way of touching on the personal at times. I guess that is true, ideas have to come from somewhere and our brains remember a lot more of our surrounding world that we give them credit for.

What’s coming is fictional and I’m not going to try and suggest anything else, but there are some things you just can’t write in detail without experience. It’s dark but not in a Stephen King stabby, stabby, blood, gore, ouchy, way.

Speaking of writing what one knows, how many people must King have killed in his life to write the way he does, seriously the guy must be a mass murderer!

Got something to say? Drop it here!
