If you’d be so kindly

bad poetry

If you’d be so kindly
To let me follow you blindly
I would ask not one question
Or let go a bad expression

I would not be to darn humble
To catch you should you stumble
Or ever be way too cool
To catch you if you fall

You could lead me down the garden path
I’d even follow you to the bath
Oops did that sound a bit too strange
Sorry but it’s too late to change

If you do go out the gate
I’ll follow you to your fate
If you walk out the door
I’ll follow you forever more

If you wander down the street
I’ll take each step after your feet
And if you ever need a walker
I promise you I’ll still be your stalker

It’s hard to follow from the driver’s seat
But I promise you I will be discreet
I’m not trying to be clever
But I would follow you forever

  1. If you wander down the street
I’ll take each step after your feet

My favorite part. Very sweet aspect of the poem. Always surprising me, L
