Song-lyric Smack-down

bad poetry

Song-lyric smack-down
Round: (I don’t remember)
Entertainment level: Maximum
Exposure Level: Dressed.

I may not be getting seen, I may not be able to discuss the efforts of my fellow competitor but that doesn’t take away the fun of this. So to the wonderfully funny and entertaining Southern Belle in the yellow polka dot bikini here is my latest instalment.

Apparently it’s not about the attire, it’s what you do when wearing that attire

Stubble so fine is what I hoped not to find
In a bikini so dotty and bright
Well now here I stand, feet in the sand
And I wish I had shaved once again

Lookin’ like this I wish I had scales
Hairy legs look like a fight
Thought this bikini was a sure bet
For running at night
Can see me from the pier, in this bikini so shear
And the odd places I did miss
As I head for the shore, no showing off anymore
Did I shave my legs for this?

Now in this new kit, you can see my left tit
Cause it pops out when I do run
When this bikini’s wet and covered in sweat
And I’m running in front of my grandson

Lookin’ like this I wish I had scales
Hairy legs look like a fight
Thought this bikini was a sure bet
For running in sight
Can see me from the pier, in this bikini so shear
All the odd places I did miss
As I head for the shore, no showing off anymore
Did I shave my legs for this?

  1. Lol… this is hilarious! You are such a mischievous man, I think I took a hit below the belt on that one. You’re liable to get a southern gal riled up! It’s a late night to think up some pay-back! Grrr….. : )

    • You have a belt on that bikini? So you weren’t running completely nakkid?

I don’t mind if this particular Southern girl gets a little riled up, she’s great fun and the list of songs to change is endless. I love waiting for your response, it’s nearly as good as reading what gets posted 🙂

  2. So who’s wearing the bikini?

    • It’s a continuation from Serendipitous’ song lyric smack down. We’ve down 2 or 3 songs each now but she’s conceded defeat and I can’t comment on her website to tell her how giving up is bad 🙂

  3. Please don’t be sad. I would be sad if you were sad. I deleted the last one, because it didn’t feel like me. I don’t want that to speak for me. Don’t worry, I have a feeling there will be other challenges in our future. : ). BIG Hug!

    • I’m sad for the game to be over because it was fun. I understand your need to delete something, even if I liked it, and don’t hold that against you.

TBH I don’t know how I’d compete right now anyway, I’d give it a go to break the day up but it might not be of a great standard. I’m too tired, this WP thing is pissing me off, some of my other writing is suffering because of the issue (i.e not putting in 100% and despite the fact that people don’t seem to mind it bugs me). Thing is I know how to fix the problem but the experts tell me there is no problem and refuse to look into it. Added to that there is still another week of school holiday’s left and I need sleep!!!
I’m open to any challenge 🙂 Hugs!!

      • Lol …. you make me laugh. I hope you are breathing and sleeping and playing.

        • You must be making wonderful progress b/c that last comment was entered through the reader, without even going through the weboage! Yippee!

          • The errors actually seem to be timed, 24-48 hours and they go away. But I still can’t comment on your site. There is 3 sites I can comment on one is self hosted the others aren’t so it’s not even a self hosted issue. But 1 have one follower who I can comment to and it might be rude putting comments for each of my favourite bloggers on her site…alternatively I might have to make a post every few hours with all the comments and people can read them all in one place 🙂

        • TBH I’m not sure if I am breathing, I often stop to check, although the hay fever is annoying me so I guess I am.

Sleeping is something I haven’t been good at for years, I’d like to blame years of night shift but it’s more likely years of avoiding sleep while doing night shift.

As for playing I just did a load of washing and hung it out, hows that for playing?

  4. I still can’t seem to comment on anyone’s site but this is great. Must admit I thought you might have tried to throw a “dirty deeds done with sheep” in there.

Sadden to hear that you are conceding defeat 🙁

Got something to say? Drop it here!
