Surface Snowflake episode 12

“Why don’t you write a story about me and my journey from the Arctic Circle to your loving arms?” Snowflake said sweetly to Jen as she woke up.
“Uh, what? Bear it’s too early.” Jen replied half asleep and rolling over to face the cute little bear with the green hat and green scarf.
“It’s not too early, it’s 7:30am!”
“Aren’t you suppose to be in charge of keeping me sane?”
“Yep, and I’m doing a damn fine job of it, even if I do say so myself.”
“Waking me up at 7:30 in the morning is not keeping me sane, it’s a sure fire way to make me crack. You know that!”
Snowflake shuffled himself down in the bed a bit further until he was face to face with Jen. They lay only centimetres from each other. Snowflake looked Jen directly in the eyes and without a hint of smugness said.
“But I have a story to tell, a story the world wants to hear.”
“Well tell L.P. to write it, or better yet use that blog of yours, you know the one you claim had eleven million hits just because you posted a picture of you and the other three boofheads.”
“Can’t do that, our server crashed last night after the number of viewers overloaded the system.”
“Leave me alone, Bear.” Jen responded half heartedly trying her best to go back to sleep.
Snowflake leant forward, gently touching his soft black nose to the tip of Jen’s nose and innocently inquired. “Jen are you listening to me?”
“I’m trying to sleep.”
“Ok,” Snowflake started, “So the Arctic water was cold as I broke the surface…..”
